new concepts


Gaia Semi Final


all most done with gaia... more comments.

I have made the arms big as well as the ass, keep the colors and textures that Briget put in as well. keep some of the proportions that brad did. I think that she is all but done. The texture is not the final, the final will be done by B so it will be colored better. a normal map, and dirty map will be taken for the models that are ether done in z-brush or in mud box.

Will be rig some time next month... when animation beginnings.

yeah rigging mech'n it has be changed a little to accommodate the game engine.

Okay, i just wanted to remind you two not to make everyone caucasian (or in mike's case-make everyone into lex luthor).

here is the belly texture, earring texture and some reference pics i have that you might want to see, i will keep it to a bare minimum-you two probably know how crazy i am about reference images and getting a ton of them. It was very hard to leave the other 400 pictures out here....

My version



Here's how I picture the proportions of this character. I think it makes it look grotesque, cartoony, and powerful. Think "giant, fat, buff, midget", and you get what I'm going for. This isn't perfect, but it'll give you an idea of how I'm seeing the character. I still want one of the hands to be a group of vines, but that could just be me.

This is a hi-res model, but the low res could be about 1100 polys with a normal map and look almost as smooth.

i'm working very slowly....

not done but...



the feet are a little too solid, but i gave something to start with, wanted her stomach to be emphasized for fertility, more moss...the eyes are rough and the colors are face painting that would be added to later.
of course, this would be tweaked a bit to fit with the style=ie-head shape and whatnot.
in progress, i am working on a new big gaia that is in the other style. i'm trying!
mike liked some of the work i did for the gods project-i think it all sucked ass but the monkey god was cool i guess, so i added it in here.

Here are those screenshots I was meaning to make-turnarounds of different card based hairstyles and some outfits. The hairstyle I used on the main character sketch below in Mike's last post is included in different lengths. I am currently working on tweaking the Gaia model right now.

I started a ruff of Gaia, it need something it just does not pop yet.

I really like this for a overall style, but still trying to find. How it will work with everthing else.

Wazzzzzzup

I'm done with school next Thursday, I'll be ready to spend some time on this project then. I got the demo version of Torque up and running and will start to play with it then.

Mike let me know what you consider priorities for me to work on right now, and I can start to think about them while I finish up finals. That way I can hit the ground running and get some pre-pro done quickly.
