Here's the initial sketches I've done for the Earth Goddess boss. I based them on the prehistoric"Venus" statues. I figured that these are among the 1st known human-like statues, and they may have religious meaning. It would fit the story that the Goddess's real form was the one first seen by humans(this grotesque pregnant/fat creature) , and she made it more beautiful and elegant as human being became more sophisticated. She could appear as a pretty Gaia like goddess first and change into this when the fight comes.I'm still working on it, but I kind of liked the idea of the head being a bunch of eyes since on most of the statues just have bumpy heads without features, and the hands being tentacle like since they usually aren't rendered distinctly in the statues. Let me know what you think.
hey really like were this is going, and the eye for the second drawing is great. One thing i thing i would change still make here head round like the statue. And I have a idea for the first form, made off of your idea. Promise I will post some stuff tomorrow.
